Purple Lizard Foundation is simply a couple of people who, through good fortune, found themselves in a position to help the community at large. That community varies from very local (perhaps the county, city, or state in which we live) all the way up to the very planet on which we ALL live.
humanity and all living creatures share one large community.
We inhabit the same planet. And this community includes all the components that sustain life within it.
wow. you’re probably thinking, that’s a large community! yes, it is.
And we don’t expect to solve all the problems in it or to be able to help everyone and everything in it. But we look for people who do really great work in things that are meaningful to us. We especially look for the smaller groups trying to make a big impact, where the amount we can give can have a larger impact. Things that enhance life - be it music, food, support for the underserved, housing, women’s rights, the environment, animal rights and safety, etc.
These are just a few. The needs are endless. But when we discover something that strikes our heart, we try to help. And that may include some larger organizations, too, if they align with our goals.

As we give, we will post some information and links to the organizations we support. We do this in hopes that it will open interest to others to consider joining us in helping these organizations, and to help people learn about some of the important and lesser-known organizations that are out there.
but WHO are we?
We don’t believe that is important. It’s not about us. It’s about what we do. So, we choose to remain anonymous. If you receive a gift from us, please use it to do the best of what you do. Help the most you can. If you appreciate the gift, feel free to thank the Purple Lizard Foundation. But the names behind the name… it doesn’t matter. We will feel good knowing we did something to help you along. And we hope you will feel good knowing you have a little more towards fulfilling the goals that you have set.
